{"id":1316,"date":"2021-07-15T16:04:55","date_gmt":"2021-07-15T13:04:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/revalstone.com\/shop\/storage\/"},"modified":"2025-05-05T15:50:27","modified_gmt":"2025-05-05T12:50:27","slug":"storage","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/uus.revalstone.com\/en\/storage\/","title":{"rendered":"Storage"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Great care should be taken when transporting natural stone products and lifting the pallets. <strong>The material is fragile<\/strong> \u2013 it is very sensitive to shocks and other mechanical effects. <strong>The edges and corners of the tiles are especially fragile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Store the limestone or dolomite in a relatively <strong>dry room indoors on a horizontal and even surface<\/strong>. Avoid leaving the packaged material in the rain or snow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When storing the material observe that <strong>no items made of oxidizing metal<\/strong> are left on it (iron nails, wire, etc.). If the material is still wet, you should not put any objects on its surface \u2013 not even other pieces of stone, sheets of paper, or any other objects which may <strong>prevent the stone\u2019s surface from drying evenly<\/strong>. If the stone cannot dry evenly, there will be spots on places where the objects were placed during drying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the order contains products of <strong>different sizes<\/strong> (e.g. windowsills, countertops, etc.) you should <strong>immediately remove them from the packaging<\/strong>. If products of different lengths are left in the packaging, they will dry unevenly, and lines will appear on their surface. Products of the same size that are placed exactly on top of each other can be stored in the packaging for a longer period. However, <strong>it is recommended to also remove these from the packaging as soon as possible<\/strong> so that the tiles can dry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is recommended to store the products removed from the packaging <strong>on their sides<\/strong> to avoid the tiles breaking under the weight of other tiles. Natural stone is a fragile material and is very sensitive to shocks and other mechanical effects (<strong>the edges and corners of the tiles are particularly fragile<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When placing wet tiles against or on top of one another observe that the <strong>tiles can dry evenly<\/strong>. Tiles with similar sizes must be placed exactly on top of each other to avoid the formation of lines and other markings on the tile\u2019s surface (due to drying).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stone tiles <strong>must not be slid on one another<\/strong> as this may scratch the surface of the tiles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Great care should be taken when transporting natural stone products and lifting the pallets.
